Best performance and protection is had with a complete fluid change to Max ATF, but Max ATF is completely compatible with OEM transmission fluid specifications (listed below), so partial fluid changes and fluid level top-off are recommended as well.

ANTI-SHUDDER – PROOF OF PERFORMANCE
Provides exceptional anti-shudder durability
- Equivalent to Toyota T-IV ASD performance requirements
ATF friction modifiers must allow the torque converter clutch to slip controllably without sticking
- Prevents noticeable shuddering
The Anti-Shudder Durability (ASD) test measures the ability of an ATF to maintain performance over time
- Test run at three temperatures with two sliding speeds
- Toyota T-111 performance is used as the JASO minimum reference
